The FIA-L-S-d0.2-...-RL-TypA-3pol is a compact fork light barrier sensor with integrated electronics and a visible red Class 1 laser (680 nm, Ø 0.2 mm) designed for high-precision object detection. It features a high switching frequency of 50 kHz, is resistant to dirt and ambient light (up to 5000 Lux), and includes an optical long-pass filter for reliable performance. The unit supports both PNP and NPN output configurations in bright- or dark-switching modes (Q or Qinv), with short-circuit protection and a 3-pole M8 connector rotated 180° from the standard layout. It operates on 24VDC, consumes 20 mA, and can detect objects as small as 0.2 mm with a repeatability of 5 µm. Housed in black anodized aluminum, the sensor is IP67-rated and available in multiple fork sizes from 10x30 mm to 60x60 mm.
