Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-FCL-SLE is a focused white-light true color sensor with an integrated transmitter and receiver, offering a typical measuring range of 0.20 into 4.72 in (5 mm to 120 mm) and a high dynamic range for precise detection. It operates on 24 VDC (±10%) and features five digital outputs configurable as NPN or PNP (bright- or dark-switching), with scan frequencies up to 35 kHz and RS232 communication for parameterization and standalone operation. The sensor uses a super-bright focused white-light LED and a 3-color filter detector based on CIE 1931 standards, allowing up to 31 taught colors (64 in GROUP mode) with selectable evaluation modes such as FIRST HIT and BEST HIT. Detection width increases with distance, with a typical half-intensity width of 17 mm at a 60 mm working distance, supporting flexible installation options. Typical applications include color verification in packaging and printing, part differentiation in automated assembly, detection of labels or markings, inspection of LEDs and displays, and other industrial quality control processes requiring reliable color recognition.
