Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-500-COF-MSM-ANA is a high-speed, true color sensor designed for precise color, contrast, and grayscale detection using a confocal optical system and a 3-color filter detector modeled on human color perception. It supports multiple color spaces (CIE Lab*, LCh*, Luv*, L*u'v', and xyY), stores up to 3 taught colors, and offers both digital and analog outputs, including 0–10 V and 4–20 mA signals for PLC integration. The sensor operates over a working distance of approximately 3.9 into 39.4 in (100 mm to 1000 mm), with spot sizes ranging from 11.5 mm to 58 mm depending on the aperture variant. Parameterization is done via Windows® software through RS232, USB, or Ethernet, enabling configuration of LED modes (AC/DC), averaging, gain, color space, and more, making it highly adaptable for inline surface color measurement and control.
