Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-500-COF-UV-d35.0-CL is a true color sensor designed to detect and differentiate luminescent colors using a UV LED light source and a 3-color filter detector that simulates human color perception. It operates on a 24 VDC supply and provides five digital outputs that can be configured as NPN or PNP, with a typical measuring range of 3.9 in to 39.4 in (100 mm to 1000 mm) and a scan frequency up to 35 kHz. The sensor can store up to 31 taught colors in non-volatile memory and communicates through an RS232 interface, with optional USB or Ethernet adapters for PC configuration and monitoring. Its rugged anodized aluminum housing with glass optics and protection ratings of IP67 (optics) and IP64 (electronics) allow reliable operation in industrial environments. Typical applications include color verification in manufacturing, detection of luminescent markings or inks, inspection of LEDs or displays, and automated sorting or quality control in packaging and production lines.
