Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-20-DIF-MSM-DIG-DL is a precision color sensor designed for true color detection, contrast, and grayscale evaluation. It uses 40 D65-similar LEDs with a volume lens diffuser to minimize gloss effects, ideal for reflective surfaces. The sensor operates at a fixed measuring distance of 20 mm ±1 mm, supporting up to 31 taught colors (48 in group mode). Color data is processed in Lab*, LCh*, Luv*, L*u′v′, and xyY spaces per CIE standards. Outputs include 5 configurable digital channels (NPN/PNP) and a serial RS232 interface with optional USB/Ethernet conversion. The system is controlled via Windows® software, offering scope view, averaging, and calibration features. Housed in an anodized aluminum enclosure with IP64 protection and integrated cooling, it's robust for industrial use. TEACH functionality is supported via PC or input trigger for stand-alone automation tasks.
