The SPECTRO-1-FIO-UVC/UVC is a single-channel UV contrast sensor designed for both reflection and transmission measurement using 280 nm UV LED light, with support for multiple UV fiber optic configurations. It features high scan frequencies (up to 175 kHz), 12-bit gray scale resolution, and robust noise immunity via selectable AC or DC operation, with analog and digital outputs configurable via PC software. Housed in a rugged IP64-rated anodized aluminum enclosure, it is suitable for industrial use in environments ranging from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to +55°C). Common industry applications include pharmaceutical packaging inspection, semiconductor surface analysis, UV ink detection in printing, and plastic recycling for material differentiation due to its ability to detect subtle UV reflectance or transmission differences in materials.
