The SPECTRO-1-FIO-UV/VIS-HP is a single-channel contrast sensor designed for detecting luminescent or self-luminous objects using a UV LED (365 nm) transmitter and a visible-range receiver with a 450 nm cut-off filter. It supports both reflected light (typ. 1–500 mm) and transmitted light (typ. 10–400 mm) operations using UV-compatible quartz glass fiber optics. The device features high-speed scanning up to 175 kHz (in DC mode), 12-bit grayscale resolution, selectable analog (0–10V or 4–20mA) and digital outputs, and optional brightness correction and averaging functions. It includes RS232 connectivity (USB or Ethernet optional), is temperature compensated from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to 55°C), and is housed in a black anodized aluminum enclosure rated IP64. Configuration and diagnostics are managed through the included Windows® SPECTRO1-Scope software, with oscilloscope and data logging features for system tuning.
