Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-FIO-UV/UV-HP is a single-channel UV contrast sensor designed for both reflected and transmitted light measurement, using a 365 nm UV LED and fiber optic cables for flexible detection setups. It offers high-speed performance with up to 60 kHz switching frequency, 12-bit grayscale resolution, and adjustable parameters such as gain, averaging, and switching thresholds for precise signal evaluation. The sensor includes both digital (NPN/PNP selectable) and analog outputs (0–10 V or 4–20 mA), along with RS232 connectivity for integration with PLCs and PC-based configuration software. Its design features temperature compensation (32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C)), resistance to ambient light in AC mode, and an integrated cooling system for stable operation. Typical applications include contrast detection, presence/absence sensing, and inspection of UV-reactive or low-visibility materials in industrial automation environments.
