The SPECTRO-1-FIO-UV/OR-HP is a high-performance, single-channel contrast sensor designed for detecting luminescent objects using UV reflected light. It operates with a 365 nm UV LED and a 550 nm long-pass optical filter, offering a typical working range of 1 mm to 100 mm depending on the fiber and optics used. The sensor supports high-speed operation with a switching frequency up to 60 kHz and features 12-bit grayscale resolution for accurate contrast measurement. Key functions include dynamic/ static brightness correction, averaging (up to 32,768 values), temperature compensation (from -4°F to 131°F / -20°C to +55°C), and selectable analog/digital outputs with NPN/PNP compatibility. It is housed in a black anodized aluminum IP64-rated enclosure and includes PC-based software for parameterization, diagnostics, and scope visualization.
