Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-200-COF-LAS is a single-channel contrast sensor designed for high-speed detection and measurement of surface brightness differences using a red laser light source. It features integrated confocal transmitter and receiver optics with a typical measuring range of 90 mm to 300 mm (3.54 in to 11.81 in) and a small light spot of Ø 0.2 mm at 200 mm for precise measurements. The sensor operates on +24 VDC power, includes two digital inputs and two configurable digital outputs (NPN/PNP), and provides one analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) for signal transmission. Signal processing includes 12-bit grayscale detection, adjustable averaging up to 32,768 values, brightness correction, and multiple switching threshold modes, all configurable through Windows® PC software via RS232, USB, or Ethernet converters. Housed in anodized aluminum with IP67 optics protection and IP64 electronics protection, the sensor is designed for industrial environments and operates from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to 55°C).
