Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-500-COF-10x10-UV is a single-channel contrast measurement sensor designed for industrial inspection and automation applications. It uses a 375 nm UV LED transmitter and a photodiode receiver with confocal optics to detect grayscale intensity differences with 12-bit resolution, allowing accurate contrast detection on surfaces or luminous objects. The sensor operates over a typical measuring range of 3.94 in to 78.74 in (100 mm to 2000 mm) and produces a 10 mm × 10 mm light spot at a working distance of 19.69 in (500 mm). It provides two digital outputs (NPN/PNP switchable) and one analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA), and can be configured through RS232 with optional USB or Ethernet converters using Windows® software. The device features high scan frequency operation, programmable thresholds, signal averaging, and temperature-compensated performance from 32°F to 131°F (0°C to 55°C) for reliable operation in industrial environments.
