The SPECTRO-1-50-COF-LAS is a high-speed, single-channel contrast sensor that uses a red laser (670 nm, Class 2) with integrated confocal optics for precision detection over a measuring range of approximately 20 mm to 65 mm. It features a very fine light spot of about 0.1 mm at 50 mm distance, making it ideal for applications requiring precise surface or contrast differentiation. The sensor offers both analog (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and digital outputs (NPN or PNP selectable), with a switching frequency up to 60 kHz and scan frequencies reaching 175 kHz depending on settings. Configurable via PC through RS232 or Ethernet, it includes advanced signal processing options like averaging, threshold correction, and brightness correction, with full temperature compensation from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to +55°C). The device operates in AC, DC, or OFF modes, allowing it to handle both reflective and self-luminous objects.
