Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-50-DIL is a single-channel contrast sensor designed for high-speed, high-resolution gray scale detection using a diffuse white-light LED source with a typical measuring range of 20 to 80 mm. Its integrated software-controlled features include dynamic brightness correction, averaging, and automatic threshold adjustment, enabling precise contrast measurements even in variable lighting conditions. The sensor supports both voltage and current analog outputs, along with NPN/PNP-capable digital outputs, and interfaces via RS232 or optional USB/Ethernet converters. With its IP67-rated optics and aluminum housing, it is well-suited for use in harsh environments. Common industry applications include packaging, printing, labeling, plastics, and other automation processes requiring accurate contrast or color-based object detection.
