Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-30-UV/VIS-9x1 is a high-speed, single-channel contrast sensor designed for precise detection of fluorescent materials using UV excitation and visible light reception. It features a narrow, slit-shaped detection field (20 mm x 3 mm at 30 mm distance) and operates with a 9x UV LED array at 375 nm, optimized for detecting subtle contrast changes on varied surfaces. With a high scan frequency of up to 175 kHz and selectable AC/DC LED modes, the sensor supports dynamic environments, offering resistance to ambient light and the ability to detect self-luminous objects. Outputs include two digital (NPN/PNP selectable), one analog (0–10V or 4–20mA), and communication via RS232 with optional USB or Ethernet converters. Industrial applications include quality control in printing, packaging, automotive, and plastics manufacturing—anywhere precise surface differentiation or fluorescent mark detection is critical. Built into a compact, anodized aluminum housing rated IP67/IP64, it is suitable for demanding environments from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to 55°C).
