Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-30-FCL is a single-channel contrast sensor featuring a focused 9x white-light LED and a measuring range of approximately 10 mm to 100 mm (0.39 in to 3.94 in), designed for high-speed and high-resolution gray scale detection with 12-bit A/D conversion . It offers flexible operation modes including AC (ambient light suppression), DC (high-speed), and OFF mode for detecting self-luminous objects, with selectable NPN/PNP digital outputs and a configurable analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA). The sensor operates on +24 VDC, supports scan frequencies up to 175 kHz (DC mode), and provides two digital outputs with a maximum switching frequency of 60 kHz, making it suitable for fast industrial processes . Housed in anodized aluminum with IP67-rated optics, it is temperature compensated and configurable via RS232 or Ethernet using Windows® software for parameterization and diagnostics. Typical applications include contrast detection on packaging lines, print mark detection, surface differentiation, LED or display intensity monitoring, and high-speed quality control in automated manufacturing environments.
