Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-30-DIL is a single-channel contrast sensor designed for precise grayscale detection and high-speed contrast measurement within a typical working range of 10 mm to 80 mm. It uses a 9x diffuse white-light LED array to reduce gloss effects and includes both analog (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and digital outputs (NPN/PNP capable) for flexible integration. The sensor is capable of operating in AC, DC, or OFF modes, making it suitable for detecting both reflective and self-luminous objects, and is controlled via PC or PLC using included Windows® software. Built with a rugged anodized aluminum housing, it operates in temperatures from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to +55°C) and features IP67-rated optics for industrial environments. Key features include 12-bit resolution, dynamic averaging up to 32,768 values, temperature compensation, and firmware updates via RS232 interface.
