Product Description
The SPECTRO-1-200-COF-LAS is a single-channel contrast measurement sensor that uses a 670 nm Class 2 red laser with integrated transmitter and receiver optics to detect grayscale differences on surfaces. It has a typical measuring range of 90–300 mm (3.5–11.8 in) and a light spot size of about 0.2 mm at 200 mm, enabling precise detection of small contrast changes. The sensor provides two digital outputs configurable as NPN or PNP, two digital inputs, and a selectable analog output of 0–10 V or 4–20 mA, allowing easy integration with PLCs and control systems. High scan frequencies, adjustable averaging, brightness correction, and AC/DC light modes allow reliable operation even in changing ambient lighting conditions. Typical applications include print mark and label detection, contrast inspection in packaging lines, verification of markings or edges on moving materials, monitoring of luminous sources such as LEDs or displays, and general industrial automation tasks requiring precise contrast detection.
