Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-200-COF-d12.0 is a single-channel contrast measurement sensor designed to detect grayscale differences on surfaces using a super-bright white-light LED and integrated confocal transmitter/receiver optics. It operates on a 24 VDC supply and provides two digital outputs (NPN-/PNP-able) plus one analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) for integration with PLC or control systems. The sensor offers a typical measuring range of 80 mm to 500 mm, a 12-bit grayscale resolution, and high scan frequencies for fast detection in automated processes. Configuration and diagnostics are handled through RS232 or Ethernet communication with Windows® software, allowing features such as averaging, brightness correction, and adjustable switching thresholds. Typical applications include contrast detection on packaging lines, print mark detection, surface inspection, and monitoring luminous objects such as LEDs, displays, or lamps in automated manufacturing systems.
