Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-20-UVC-DIL is a single-channel UV contrast sensor designed for high-speed, reflection-based detection using a UVC LED source at 265 nm and a detection range of 230–400 nm. It features a 10–40 mm measuring range, 12-bit resolution gray scale detection, and is capable of operating in AC, DC, or OFF modes to accommodate various lighting and object conditions. The sensor is suitable for applications involving contrast measurement on surfaces, presence detection of UV-fluorescent markings, or inspection of self-luminous objects in automation environments. Common use cases include quality control in packaging lines, label verification, and product differentiation where UV contrast is used. Its rugged aluminum housing, high scan rates (up to 175 kHz), and configurable I/O make it ideal for integration into industrial PLC-controlled systems.
