Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-FIO-UV-SL is a UV-based, fiber-optic true color sensor that detects luminescent colors using a 375 nm UV LED and supports up to three taught colors or 64 in group mode. It offers a broad working range of 1 mm to 500 mm (depending on fiber and optics), with high-speed performance featuring a 60 kHz switching frequency and up to 85 kHz scan rate. The sensor employs a 3-channel color filter detector that mimics human color perception and includes features like adjustable gain, averaging, and multiple evaluation modes including “BEST HIT.” It has a durable anodized aluminum housing and operates in temperatures from -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to +55°C), with configuration handled via PC software over RS232, USB, or Ethernet. Compatible with a wide selection of UV fiber optics and attachment optics, it is ideal for precise and flexible color detection in industrial environments.
