Product Description
The PSE224 is a Tiny Inline Wet-Mate Underwater Connector for in-line cable connection in subsea systems.
Available contact configurations: 4, 7 contacts
Electrical/environmental performance: up to 300 V DC; depth rating 8700 PSI (600 bar) (4350 PSI (300 bar) for PEEK); temperature range 23˚F to 149˚F (-5˚C to 65˚C).
Construction highlights: chloroprene rubber body, gold-plated contacts, socket: Gold plated Beryllium copper, bulkhead materials: Stainless steel 316(SS), titanium(TI) or PEEK(PE). Sealing uses O-rings (NBR 2-012).
Best suited for power/signal interconnects where reliability under
pressure and corrosion resistance are required.
Applications:
- Aquaculture monitoring and subsea infrastructure
- Deck-to-water interface cable runs and umbilicals
- In-line cable extensions and breakaway sections
- Oceanographic monitoring packages (CTD, current meters, data loggers)
- Offshore wind / marine energy subsea equipment (monitoring, control, junction boxes)
- ROV/AUV power and control interconnects
- Sonar/hydrophone arrays and acoustic systems
- Subsea sensor and instrumentation connections
- Test tanks, R&D rigs, and subsea prototyping
- Underwater cameras, lighting, and inspection tooling
