Product Description

The M-CON4 is an electronic control unit designed for precise control of M-LAS Series miniature laser light barriers. It supports high-accuracy triggering (<1 µm) and detects objects as small as 10 µm, with a typical switching frequency of 10 kHz and modulation at 100 kHz. The unit offers two digital outputs—Q and Qinv—with configurable NPN/PNP switching logic, and includes a 3-turn potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment along with a bi-color LED for visual switching state feedback. It operates on a 12–32 VDC power supply, has an IP64-rated blue anodized aluminum housing, and connects via an 8-pole sensor port (Binder Series 712) and a 4-pole M12 PLC port. The device is compatible with several M-LAS sensor models, including M-LAS-3-P, M-LAS-M4-P, M-LAS-M8-P, M-LAS-4/90-P, and M-LAS-Q5/90-P.
