Product Description

The L-LAS-TB-50-AL is a high-resolution laser line measurement system consisting of a transmitter (L-LAS-TB-50-T-AL) and receiver (L-LAS-TB-50-R-AL), featuring a 670 nm Class 1 laser (<0.39 mW) with a 50 mm light curtain and a typical measuring range of 48 mm . It offers resolution up to 8 µm (Normal Speed mode) with selectable scan frequencies up to 2 kHz or 3.3 kHz, making it suitable for precision dimensional measurement and edge detection applications . The sensor includes one analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) and three digital outputs (PNP bright/dark switching configurable), along with two digital inputs for trigger and teach/reset functions . Housed in black anodized aluminum with IP67-rated optics and IP54 electronics, it operates from 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to +50°C) and supports RS232 communication with optional USB or Ethernet converters . Typical applications include non-contact thickness measurement, gap and edge monitoring, diameter and width inspection, web edge control, and quality verification in automated manufacturing and process control environments .
