The L-LAS-TB-28-AL-SC is a spray jet profile sensor system designed for precise inline monitoring and control of spray patterns in industrial applications. It uses a through-beam configuration with a visible red line laser (670 nm, Class 1) and offers a measuring range of 28 mm with a typical resolution of 14 µm. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver housed in rugged, black anodized aluminum enclosures rated IP67. It features a line detector with 2048 pixels, integrated interference filtering, and a maximum switching frequency of 1.4 kHz for high-speed applications. The receiver includes 2 digital inputs and 3 digital outputs, along with one analog output (0–10V or 4–20 mA) that is configurable via PC software. Configuration is handled through the Windows®-based L-LAS-Spray-Control-Scope interface, which provides graphical and numeric data visualization and evaluation options. The sensor supports RS232 communication, with optional USB or Ethernet converters, and allows bright/dark switching mode selection. Operating temperature range is -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to +50°C), making it suitable for most industrial environments.
