The L-LAS-TB-12-CON1-MS is a high-resolution laser line measurement system consisting of a Master and Slave control unit with paired transmitters and receivers, using a 670 nm Class 1 visible red laser. Each side provides a typical measuring range of 0.50 in (12.8 mm) with a resolution of approximately 0.00028 in (7 µm), making it suitable for precision dimensional measurement applications . The system offers analog outputs of 0–10 V or 4–20 mA, along with three digital outputs configurable as PNP or NPN (bright-switching or dark-switching) via Windows® software. Housed in anodized aluminum with IP67-rated optics and IP54 electronics, it operates on 24 VDC (±10%) and functions in temperatures from 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to +50°C). Typical applications include edge detection, gap and width measurement, web and strip monitoring, diameter or thickness verification, and in-process quality control in industrial automation environments.
