Product Description

The L-LAS-RL-10 is a high-precision reflected light line sensor designed to measure the position or width of objects using a 512-pixel CCD detector with a typical resolution of 10 μm. It operates at a reference distance of 33 mm with a measuring range of approximately 10 mm and can detect objects as small as 0.05 mm. The sensor features ring illumination with 9 LEDs (white, red, blue, or UV options), adjustable sensitivity via Windows® software, and a scan frequency up to 500 Hz for fast, reliable inspections. It integrates easily into industrial systems through RS232, digital inputs/outputs, and both 0–10 V and 4–20 mA analog outputs for PLC communication.

Common uses include precision width measurement of strips, films, or wires; edge and position control in automated assembly lines; quality inspection of small stamped or machined parts; surface feature detection under different light wavelengths (including UV-reactive materials); and real-time tolerance monitoring with direct feedback to control systems in high-speed production environments.
