The L-LAS-LT-55-HS is a high-speed laser line sensor featuring a 670 nm Class 2 semiconductor laser with a typical 8 mm measuring range, 5 µm resolution, and a scan frequency up to 600 Hz, making it suitable for precise inline measurements . It offers either a 0–10 V analog output (L-LAS-LT-55-HS) or a 4–20 mA analog output (L-LAS-LT-55-HS-4/20), along with three configurable digital outputs (PNP bright-switching/NPN dark-switching or PNP dark-switching/NPN bright-switching) and RS232 communication for flexible integration . The sensor operates on 24 VDC (±10%), is housed in black anodized aluminum, and is rated IP54 for electronics and IP67 for optics, with an operating temperature range of 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to +50°C) . Typical applications include precision edge detection, gap and width measurement, thickness verification, and high-speed dimensional inspection in automated manufacturing and quality control systems
