Product Description

The L-LAS-LT-180-SL Series is a slim-line laser triangulation sensor designed for precise distance and thickness measurements with a 180 mm reference distance and a typical 240 mm measuring range (60 mm to 300 mm from the housing edge) . It offers a typical resolution of 60 µm with ±60 µm reproducibility and ≤0.25% linearity of full-scale output, making it suitable for high-accuracy industrial inspection tasks. The sensor is available as a Class 1 laser spot version (-P, Ø 0.3 mm) or a Class 2 laser line version (-L, 0.3 mm x 3 mm), both operating at 670 nm. Outputs include 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, and two configurable digital outputs (PNP/NPN bright- or dark-switching), along with RS232 communication and Windows®-based parameterization. Typical applications include non-contact dimensional measurement, thickness and height verification, tolerance monitoring, and positioning control in automated manufacturing and quality inspection systems.
