Product Description

The Sensor Instruments L-LAS-LT-110-HD2-ANA is a laser line sensor designed for precise distance and position measurement in industrial automation. It uses a Class 2 semiconductor laser (670 nm) with a typical measuring range of 3.35 in (85 mm) starting at 3.15 in (80 mm) from the sensor and provides high measurement resolution of about 0.0033 in (85 µm). The sensor includes a CCD line detector with 512 pixels and 1024 subpixels, automatic laser power adjustment, and optical filtering to reliably detect both dark and bright surfaces. Output options include 0–10 V analog voltage or 4–20 mA analog current, with RS232 communication and a digital trigger input for integration with PLC systems. Housed in anodized aluminum with industrial-grade protection, it is suitable for applications such as robotic positioning, edge detection, dimensional measurement, and alignment tasks, including positioning on painted automotive body components with varying surface reflectivity.
