The L-LAS-LT-110-HD2-ANA / -4/20 is a Class 2 visible red (670 nm) laser line sensor designed for precise distance and edge measurement, offering a typical measuring range of 3.35 in (85 mm) beginning at 3.15 in (80 mm) from the housing edge. It provides a typical resolution of 85 µm (0.0033 in) with ±85 µm reproducibility and 0.6% FSR linearity, using a 512-pixel CCD line detector with 1024 subpixel resolution for high accuracy across varying surface conditions. The sensor features automatic laser power adjustment, integrated interference and red-light filters, and high dynamic range capability to reliably detect both dark and bright targets. Electrical options include either 0–10 VDC or 4–20 mA analog output, a digital input (external trigger/teach), RS232 parameterization via Windows® software, and a rugged anodized aluminum housing rated IP67 (optics) . Typical applications include robotic positioning, edge detection, thickness or height measurement, and precision alignment tasks—such as positioning on painted automotive body components where accurate detection across varying surface finishes is required .
