Product Description

The FKB-06-TPO is a high-resolution fork light barrier sensor from Sensor Instruments' TLB series, designed for precise object detection tasks. It is available with either an infrared (905 nm) or visible red (660 nm) LED light source, with aperture sizes ranging from 0.4 mm to 1.2 mm, depending on the version. The sensor supports multiple fork sizes—5/10, 10/10, and 10/15 mm—and achieves a typical repeatability of 10 µm, detecting objects as small as 10 µm under DC operation. Housed in blue anodized aluminum, it features an IP67 rating for robust protection and uses a shielded PUR-sheathed cable in lengths of 500 mm or 1000 mm. Electrical connection is made via a 5-pin 270° Binder 680 connector integrated into a tool plug. The unit is designed to resist ambient light interference and operate in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to +80°C).
