Product Description

The FKB-06-M8 from the TLB Series is a fork light barrier sensor designed for high-resolution object detection, available in both infrared (IR) and visible red light (VIS) variants. It offers multiple fork sizes (5/10, 10/10, 10/15 mm) and aperture options ranging from 0.4 mm to 1.2 mm depending on the light type. The sensor is housed in a rugged aluminum body (anodized blue), with IP67 protection, and operates reliably in temperatures from -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to +80°C). It features a 4-pin M8 connector and requires the TLB-CON12-M8 amplifier for operation, using the cab-las4 connecting cable. Key capabilities include excellent resistance to ambient light (up to 5000 Lux), optical filtering for daylight rejection (IR) or IR rejection (VIS), and a minimum detectable object size of 10 µm under DC operation.
