The FIA-C-08 is a compact fork light barrier sensor featuring an integrated amplifier, infrared 905 nm LED, and fast 10 kHz switching frequency for detecting small objects down to 0.3 mm with high precision. Housed in a robust, oil-resistant aluminum enclosure with IP67 protection, it is well-suited for industrial environments requiring reliable, non-contact object detection. The sensor offers both PNP and NPN switching outputs, with models configurable for bright- or dark-switching, and is available with optional tool plug connectors (TP-M12 or TPO-01) for easy integration. It is commonly applied in high-speed packaging lines, parts counting, edge detection in labeling machines, and wire break detection where precise positioning or interruption sensing is critical.
