The FIA-A-H series from Sensor Instruments is a high-speed infrared fork light barrier with an integrated amplifier, designed for precise object detection with a typical switching frequency of 100 kHz and minimum detectable object size of 0.05 mm. Housed in a compact, anodized aluminum enclosure rated IP67, it features a scratch-resistant optical system, temperature compensation, and an analog output range of 0–5V. Multiple fork sizes and aperture shapes (circular and rectangular) are available to match various detection requirements, with cable or connector options for integration flexibility. Operating in environments from -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to +50°C), it is suitable for use in industrial automation settings such as precision part counting, edge detection, or position sensing in harsh or oily conditions.
