The F-LAS-16-DC-...-HS series is a high-speed laser fork light barrier system featuring a visible red semiconductor laser (670 nm) with selectable laser classes 1 or 2, depending on aperture size. It operates on DC power and offers a high switching frequency of approximately 200 kHz, making it suitable for precision object detection in fast-moving industrial applications. The system includes analog (0–10 V) and digital outputs (PNP or NPN, bright- or dark-switching), with optional threshold correction (TC) for enhanced reproducibility down to 0.1% of aperture size. Its rugged aluminum housing (IP67 rated), integrated optical filters, and multiple fork and aperture size configurations support deployment in harsh environments. Common applications include wire break detection, edge detection in label processing, and high-speed part counting or positioning in automation systems.
