The AGL4-Qinv is an electronic control unit designed for use with Sensor Instruments’ A-LAS Series analog laser light barriers, offering high precision object detection down to 10 µm and analog output from 0–10V. It features both static and dynamic digital outputs (15 ms pulse) with selectable NPN or PNP configurations (Q or Qinv versions), making it adaptable for a range of industrial automation environments. The system is equipped with dirt accumulation compensation, signal amplification and threshold potentiometers, and visual indicators for sensor status, enabling reliable use even in dusty or demanding conditions. Typical industries using the AGL4 include electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical packaging, precision assembly, and web/film monitoring, where micro-scale object detection and high switching speed are essential. Its compact, IP64-rated anodized aluminum housing supports rugged deployment in production lines and inspection systems.
