The AGL4-Q is a compact electronic control unit designed to interface with A-LAS series analog laser light barriers, offering ultrahigh precision object detection down to 10 μm. It features both analog (0–10 V) and digital outputs (static and dynamic), with selectable NPN or PNP switching types depending on the model (Q or Qinv), and a high switching frequency of 25 kHz for fast applications. Housed in a rugged anodized aluminum enclosure (IP64), it includes onboard potentiometers for threshold and gain adjustment, LED indicators for sensor status and dirt accumulation, and dirt compensation functionality. With a wide operating temperature range of -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C), it is suitable for industrial environments where space-saving, fast response, and micrometer-level accuracy are critical. This product is ideal for precision automation tasks in electronics manufacturing, fiber or wire production, medical device inspection, and high-speed sorting or packaging systems.
