The A-LAS-CON1 is a precision electronic control unit designed to interface with up to two A-LAS analog laser sensors, enabling high-speed object detection and thickness measurement in the micrometer range. With a switching frequency up to 25 kHz and configurable outputs (digital and analog: 0–10V or 4–20mA), it supports applications requiring tight tolerance band monitoring and real-time feedback. It includes features such as teach/reset functions, software-configurable trigger thresholds, and dirt accumulation compensation to maintain reliability in harsh environments. The unit is ideal for industries like precision manufacturing, electronics assembly, packaging, printing, and medical device production, where micrometer-level accuracy and high throughput are critical. Communication with PCs is handled via RS232, USB, or Ethernet, and its settings can be adjusted using the included Windows® software, which also allows live signal visualization and parameter logging.
