Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-FIO is a high-speed, single-channel contrast sensor designed for flexible integration using fiber optics for reflected or transmitted light configurations. It features a wide detection range of approximately 1 mm to 500 mm, depending on the selected optics, and includes a super-bright white LED light source with AC, DC, or OFF operation modes to support both standard and self-luminous objects. With 12-bit grayscale resolution, selectable gain, temperature compensation, and optional averaging of up to 32,768 values, the system is engineered for stable and precise signal evaluation across various surface types. It supports TEACH-in via PC or PLC, offers both digital and analog outputs, and can be parameterized using included Windows® software with oscilloscope and data logging capabilities. Applications include contrast detection, grayscale analysis, or intensity measurement in automated production lines, particularly where precise optical feedback or complex surface characterization is required.
