Product Description

The SPECTRO-1-FIO-IR1 is a single-channel contrast sensor utilizing an 860 nm infrared LED for high-speed gray scale detection with a large working range of approximately 1 mm to 500 mm, depending on the fiber optics used. It supports both AC and DC operation modes and can disable its internal light source for detecting self-luminous objects. The unit features 2 digital inputs and 2 outputs (NPN/PNP selectable), a 12-bit analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA), and offers RS232 connectivity with optional USB or Ethernet converters. Full parameterization and diagnostics are available via PC software, including oscilloscope and data logging functions. It also allows connection of external IR laser sources (class 3B), and supports extensive customization through fiber optics, optical frontends, and mounting accessories.
