The SPECTRO-1-FIO-BL/YL is a high-speed, single-channel contrast sensor designed for detecting luminescent objects using a blue LED transmitter (450 nm) and a receiver equipped with a 550 nm long-pass optical filter, optimized for reflected light applications. It features a working range of approximately 1 mm to 100 mm depending on the attached fiber optics, and supports both AC and DC operation for immunity to ambient light or high-speed measurement, respectively. The unit includes 2 digital inputs and outputs (NPN/PNP-capable), 1 analog output (0–10 V or 4–20 mA), and an RS232 interface with optional USB or Ethernet converters. The sensor can be configured via PC using the SPECTRO1-Scope software, which also provides oscilloscope and data recording functions. Its robust aluminum housing (IP64 rated) includes an integrated cooling device and it operates reliably in temperatures from -4 °F to 131 °F (-20 °C to +55 °C).
