The F-LAS-16-DC is a high-speed laser fork light barrier designed for precision object detection, using a collimated visible red laser beam with selectable aperture and fork sizes. It features both analog (0–10V) and digital outputs, with options for PNP or NPN switching, and operates at a typical switching frequency of 25 kHz. Its rugged aluminum IP67-rated housing and scratch-resistant optics make it suitable for industrial environments with ambient light up to 1000 lux and operating temperatures from -4 °F to 122 °F (-20 °C to +50 °C). Common applications include packaging, labeling, edge detection, and precision positioning in industries such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, printing, and automation. Adjustable potentiometers allow for gain or threshold tuning, with optional threshold correction for enhanced repeatability.
