Product Description

The L-LAS-LT-600-SL is a slim-line laser triangulation sensor with a 600 mm reference distance and a typical 33.5 in (850 mm) measuring ranges from 5.9 into 39.4 in (150 mm to 1000 mm), offering 0.0098 in (250 µm) resolution and ±0.0098 in (±250 µm) reproducibility. It utilizes a Class 2, 670 nm semiconductor laser (<1 mW) available as either a Ø0.3 mm spot (-P) or 0.3 mm x 3 mm line (-L), with integrated interference and red-light filters for stable detection. The sensor provides both analog outputs (4–20 mA and 0–10 V) and configurable PNP/NPN digital outputs, plus RS232 communication with optional USB or Ethernet conversion for flexible PLC and PC integration. Housed in black anodized aluminum with IP54 (electronics) and IP67 (optics) protection, it operates from 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to +50°C) on 24 VDC power. Typical applications include non-contact distance measurement, thickness and height control, position monitoring, and tolerance band verification in industrial automation, material handling, and quality inspection systems.
