The L-LAS-LT-50-SL is a slim-line laser triangulation sensor designed for precise non-contact distance and position measurement using a Class 1 semiconductor laser (670 nm, <0.39 mW). It has a reference distance of 50 mm (1.97 in) and a typical measuring range of 38 mm (1.50 in), with 10 µm resolution and ±10 µm reproducibility, enabling high-precision detection of small dimensional changes. The sensor features analog outputs (0–10 V and 4–20 mA), digital switching outputs, RS232 communication, and adjustable settings via Windows® software, allowing integration with PLCs and automation systems. Its compact anodized aluminum housing, integrated optical filters, and scan frequency up to 2 kHz (3.3 kHz) make it suitable for demanding industrial environments. Typical applications include thickness measurement, height and position control, surface profiling, quality inspection on production lines, and precise positioning tasks in automated manufacturing systems.
