The L-LAS-LT-30-SL is a slim-line laser triangulation sensor designed for precise non-contact distance measurement, featuring a Class 1 semiconductor laser (670 nm, <0.39 mW) with either a 0.3 mm spot (-P) or 0.3 mm x 3 mm line (-L) geometry. It offers a reference distance of 32.5 mm (1.28 in), a typical measuring range of 24 mm (0.94 in) from 21 mm to 45 mm (0.83 into 1.77 in) and delivers 6 µm resolution with ±6 µm reproducibility. The sensor provides both analog outputs (4–20 mA and 0–10 V) and configurable digital outputs with selectable PNP bright-/NPN dark-switching or PNP dark-/NPN bright-switching, plus an RS232 interface with optional USB or Ethernet connectivity. It operates on 24 VDC (±10%), has a measuring frequency up to 2 kHz (3.3 kHz max), and features an IP54-rated electronics housing with IP67 optics in an anodized aluminum body. Typical industries include automotive manufacturing, electronics assembly, packaging and converting, metal processing, plastics production, and general industrial automation where high-precision inline thickness, height, or position measurement is required.
