The L-LAS-LT-37 is a compact laser line displacement sensor featuring a 670 nm Class 2 visible red laser with a typical 4 mm measuring range and 1 µm resolution, making it suitable for high-precision measurement applications. It offers either a 0–10 V analog output (L-LAS-LT-37) or a 4–20 mA analog output (L-LAS-LT-37-4/20), along with three configurable digital outputs (PNP bright-switching/NPN dark-switching or PNP dark-switching/NPN bright-switching), two digital inputs, and RS232 communication with optional USB or Ethernet connectivity . With a scan frequency up to 200 Hz, integrated interference and red-lighta filters, and IP54 (electronics) / IP67 (optics) protection, it is well suited for industrial environments requiring stable and repeatable measurements. Typical applications include measuring edge position or width of strip materials in metal or plastic processing, checking the diameter or position of wires and filaments in production lines, and verifying small part dimensions in automated assembly systems. It can also be used for precision height or gap measurement in electronics manufacturing, quality control of extruded profiles, or monitoring component alignment in robotic or PLC-controlled machinery.
