Product Description

The FLB Series from Sensor Instruments includes the FLB-F, FLB-H, and FLB-V frame light barriers, designed for precise part detection using a homogeneous infrared light curtain. These sensors offer high sensitivity, capable of detecting objects as small as 0.2 mm in diameter, and are available in a wide range of frame sizes from 5 mm to 100 mm measuring range depending on model and configuration. Built with anodized aluminum housings and scratch-resistant optics covers, they are rated IP67 and suitable for harsh environments thanks to oil-resistant cables and rugged construction. The sensors can be connected to either FLB-CON1 or FLB-CON8 electronic control units via 8-pole connectors, though certain larger models are only compatible with FLB-CON8. Operating temperature range is from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C), with power requirements of +12VDC to +32VDC and a current draw of 200 mA.
