The SPECTRO-3-FIO-MSM-DIG-DL is a true color sensor designed for precise color, contrast, and grayscale detection using a 3-color filter detector with CIE-compliant color space evaluation (Lab*, LCh*, Luv*, L*u’v’, xyY) . It operates on +24 VDC and features five digital outputs configurable as NPN or PNP (bright/dark switching), with RS232 communication and optional USB or Ethernet connectivity for parameterization and firmware updates. The sensor supports up to 31 taught colors (48 in group mode), offers AC mode for ambient light immunity and DC mode for high-speed detection up to 35 kHz, and provides a working range from approximately 1 mm to 500 mm depending on optics. With transmitted-light fiber optics options and temperature-compensated measurement accuracy (typ. ΔE = 0.3), it delivers reliable performance in industrial environments.
