Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-COF-…-SL is a compact true color sensor designed for precise color, contrast, and grayscale detection in industrial automation. It uses a super-bright white-light LED and a 3-color filter detector to measure reflected light from objects at a typical working distance of 10 mm to 200 mm (0.39 in to 7.87 in). The sensor can store up to 3 taught colors (up to 64 in GROUP mode) and operates with scan frequencies up to 85 kHz, enabling fast and reliable color evaluation. Configuration and parameterization are performed via RS232 using Windows® software, while digital outputs allow easy integration with PLC systems. Typical applications include color verification in packaging and assembly processes, sorting or quality inspection on production lines, detection of printed marks or labels, and monitoring luminous objects such as LEDs or displays.
