Product Description

The SPECTRO-3-50-COF is a true color sensor designed for precise color, contrast, and grayscale detection using confocal transmitter and receiver optics. It features a typical measuring range of 30 mm to 70 mm (1.18 in to 2.76 in) and can store up to 31 taught colors, enabling reliable color identification in automated processes. The sensor uses a super-bright white-light LED with a 3-color filter detector and provides fast operation with scan frequencies up to 35 kHz, along with configurable digital outputs that can operate as NPN or PNP for PLC integration. Parameterization and diagnostics are performed via RS232 using Windows® software, allowing the sensor to run in stand-alone mode after setup. Typical industries and applications include packaging, printing, plastics manufacturing, electronics production, and automotive assembly, where accurate color verification, sorting, and quality inspection are required.
